So after reading about all these bloggers who are doing some sort of SNG challenege (TripJax, Chad, etc.) I thought it would be something fun to try. I have never played turbo SNGs but the fact I can play 6 of them in about 35 minutes and win 2 was encouraging. I then played 6 more and either bubbled or got knocked out by 2/3 outers (as usual) or the always likely club flush runner runner:
I started out doing the $11 turbos but I think I will start from the bottom of the ladder and go through a bunch of $6 turbos first. Once I get my footing I will move back up. I also want to avoid Chad the Machine who is tearing through these like a wolf in a shed full of bunnies.
This is also my first attempt at 6-tabling. It's has not been too hard so far except if I get heads-up:
BTW, thanks for everyone who checked on me after the deep doo doo post via comment, chat and even phone. Nothing dramatic has happened and everything is pretty much back to normal. But thanks for all the support. It really means a lot. You IIFs are the best!

Sick Sick Canadians
This is the last one today, I swear. This is a PSA from Canada about kitchen safety.
You sick fucks!
Guess That Tune (or) Why I love Indians
I came across this cover for a former big hit. I bet most of you know which one it is. Leave your guesses in the comments. There is nothing that Indians can't do. Nothing!
UPDATE: Well obviously that was an easy question. Informer by Snow. I still think those Indians are awesome. I also think Jim Carrey is awesome:
Deep Doo Doo
I went and made things worse for myself and my family yesterday by being a total idiot. Let's just say I made an awful financial decision without consulting KajaWife first and the shit hit the fan. Hard! I put us under an awful amount of unnecessary stress at an already stressful time and I am going to pay for it dearly. Probably for a long time.
I've been with KajaWife for over 7 years now (3+ married) and we have had our ups and downs along the way. Men are idiots and I am sometimes a leader in that category. I have had to dig myself out of a few deep holes and apologize for a few things and this last fiasco is pretty high up there with the more ridiculous shit I have pulled off.
I kind of fixed things today but we still lost some money that we could have used for our business and family and I feel awful. I am a bit relieved that it's over but I know there are going to be consequences.
Therefore, don't expect to see me at the virtual tables anytime soon unless she kicks my ass out (hope we don't come to that).
I have so much yet to learn.
Good luck to everyone playing the Mookie and RiverChasers this week.
That is all for now.

Break time & MATH
I am getting increasingly frustrated with poker lately. Well, maybe not poker but rather the environment in which I get to play poker. Get is a good word there because I sometimes feel like I have to sneak it in or get permission. And it's pissing me the fuck off. And playing pissed the fuck off is not a good thing.
Last night I predicted that the MATH would be a weird format. Not because a rebuy is such a crazy format, but rather that a $10 rebuy will not fit the audience that is the MATH and the BBT2. The reason the MATH always has less players than the Mookie or RiverChasers is the buy-in. Don't tell me it's because it's a Monday or some other bullshit excuse. It's the buy-in. So it comes down to a bankroll management issue.
So when you set up a $10 rebuy, people with limited rolls will not show up, hence the smallest field in the MATH history in the BBT2 - 54 players with only 6 spots paying. A quick calculation would show that a double rebuy plus add-on would be $31 and a second double rebuy brings you to $51. So you are going to have four types of players:
1) People who will chose not to play.
2) People who will limit themselves to $31 buy-in.
3) People who will limit themselves to $51 buy-in.
4) People with no bankroll issues (who I erroneously called "high-rollers" yesterday) who will shove any hand and double rebuy several times.
And that's exactly what happened. By the time the rebuy period was over 7 players chose not to rebuy and add-on and we were left with 47 players. One of these players was CK who even told us in the chat that her limit was $30. On the other end of the spectrum was KOD who was probably in for 10 or more buy-ins and complained about how tight everyone was playing and what a crap rebuy this turned out to be.
Anyway, who cares about all that. We eventually ended up with 130 rebuys and 43 add-ons for a total prize pool of $2,270 paid to only the top 6 spots.
I played extremely tight during the rebuy for two reasons. I don't have the bankroll to go crazy and I got no cards for the first hour. Nothing. I pushed twice. Once with KQo which lost to ATo and JTo (which won). Then I pushed again with 99 vs. KJo (and almost JJ which Hoy says he folded) and won on a K9xxx board:
I then did the add-on and was sitting somewhere in the top half of the field at the break.
Then the real game started, although you wouldn't know it because people were just shoving right and left with very marginal hands. My VP$IP was around 8% at this point. I truly got nothing playable. I decided to get stupid with A&s on the button and ran into KillinKegz AKo in the SB. He jammed for the umpteenth time and I figured he was making a move so I made a bad call and got rewarded with a 7 on the flop:
Then I got Aces in EP and I knew I was doomed.
The blinds were 120/240/25 and I raised to 580 which may have been a little low. I thought My table image and position would have helped thin the field but I got Bayne and Fuel to flat call along with TwoBlackAces in the BB. The flop was Qd5dX and when TBA checked it to me I bet almost the size of the pot which was around 2400. Bayne folded and Fuel in LP jammed. TBA thought for a long time and folded. And there I was left with a very difficult decision.
I held the Ace of diamonds so I could not put Fuel on a flush draw. Whenever there's a 5 on the board you might have run into one of his beware-my-presto moves. But I just didn't buy it. Why would he jam a set of 5s here, unless he wanted to me to think he had a set of 5s. I ended up thinking he had AQ or maybe KQs and so I called. I was right and he had AQs in clubs and was only left with 2 outs. Of course RNG has to fuck with me again and deliver the Q on the river. So gross:
I was left with less than a BB and I think quadrupled up then folded my SB. Then on the button I find TT and jam my 580 and get called by K2o which hits his three outer on the river:
So I get screwed by the river with a 2 outer and then a 3 outer to send me packing. Nice.
While all this was going on KajaWife decided to pick a fight with me about my poker "obsession" and put me on some life tilt. Very nice.
I probably will take the rest of this week off. I think I can take the rest of the BBT2 off and still be in the freeroll as I am atop the leaderboard with 9 games left. I am not sure what the overall leader gets at the end of the series, so I am not sure if it's worth fighting for. And since I probably won't take down the weekly leaderboard I see no sense in throwing away more money at the BBT2 at this point.
Blah!

HOLE IN ONE
No you fools, not me.
My father, after playing golf for about 20 years has scored his first hole-in-one. He did it on a new course (for him) on the 9th hole which was a par-3, 160ish meter long hole. He thought his ball had rolled off the green but when he couldn't find it decided as a joke to check the hole. And there it was.
So even though you don't know this blog exists, congratulations dad! Thanks for getting me addicted to this game right before I started having children. Thanks a bunch. Really. That's why every time we play I will kick your ass even though you have a handicap of 11 and mine never went below a 13.
*I will need to update this later with all the details about how and where my father plays golf. It's quite an amusing story.
On Notice
I've had it with you people. Seriously. Why the hell would anyone only enable a few lines in their RSS feeds. I hate RSS summary mode. Quit it!
I have a long list of feeds but I am going to have to start removing some of my favorites because of the summary feeds. I can't stand having to go to the actual site. I don't get it. Are you all that hard up for cash that you need your loyal readers to go to your site? Are you just afraid that your skillful writing will be stolen and get reprinted without your permission? Puh-Lease! You're not that good.
And just as an example, Alan got a lot more comments after he switched to full feed mode.
So you know who you are. No more excuses. Do it. DO IT NOW!!!

Poor kid. That is a tough one to lay down. Granted he was behind the entire time, but I am not sure I could lay that down either. Anyway, I went on to take it down. It was a fun match with a worthy opponent. I managed to lose the second game after my middle pair got countered by a bottom pair making trips on the turn. Damn.
After the quads hand I had a fun little chat with the guy:
Dealer: Kajagugu shows four of a kind, Kings
Dealer: Kajagugu wins the pot (1,720) with four of a kind, Kings
Dealer: Hand #4303148877
Cronickiller: I had the J
Kajagugu: i saw
Kajagugu: i had the K
Kajagugu: lol
He kind of freaked out when I told him I saw that he had a Jack and asked how I could see his cards. I let him in on a little secret called hand history. I guess he's new to the site or something.
Back to your scheduled programming.
So much to get to (part 2)
I managed to play some poker on Saturday night. I was getting killed by the NLHE RNG on both FTP and Stars (all the money went in on the turn, oh, joy):

So I decided to switch things up a bit and donk it up with some HORSE and Razz. I was leading a big $1 Razz MTT on Stars and then managed to eliminate myself close to the bubble. In the meantime I was also leading the HORSE $5 on FTP. Here are some fun hands:
This hand plays itself and the only bet I didn't get called on was the river. I was getting some awful lag and every decision seemed to take forever but I didn't get a chance to show this beauty to the table either. I hate network lag tilt. I also enjoyed sitting to the right of The Poker Enthusiast.
This next hand shows how bad the players are at these stakes and format. Myself included:
This was an awesome hand that I got max profit from. One thing I did was to not bet double when my pair showed on fourth street. Check out the HH below:

Seat 5: denverajp mucked [Qc 5c Tc Ah Ad 4h 3h] - a pair of Aces - You have to be kidding, dude. All those chips with just a pair of Aces that I can see? I am the worst Stud player on the planet, but I would not keep betting if I can't beat a pair of Aces.
Seat 6: domino55 folded on 3rd St.
Seat 7: checker-pete folded on 3rd St.
Seat 8: amysue2 folded on 3rd St.
So that was nice. I got more money from this guy when he could not let go of his big slick:
Then it all fell apart in about three hands. Be were on the bubble and I guess I could have let a lot of these hands go, but I was not going to sit on my hands. Here I missed the low draw against a short stack when I had a 5 low on 5th street:
Then these two fools drew out on me on the river by both getting deuces. One made two pair for the high and the other made a 7 low:
Then on my final hand I get split Aces against another player with split Aces:
And after leading this thing for most of the tournament I bubble in 17th out of 133:
Turned off the damn laptop and went to sleep.
Tonight is a special MATH which Hoy has decided to make a $10 rebuy. I am not sure I love this format, because it gives the high-rollers a much bigger edge. We'll just have to see what happens. I expect a lower turnout as well as a lot of people refusing to rebuy more than one or two times. Not sure if I will partake in this one.
So much to get to (part 1)
I have neglected this space for the past few days while on vacation in Florida. Vacation is always a tough term to define. For those of you who have no kids, vacation is a completely different experience than for us parents. Your vacation is filled with late mornings, relaxed breakfasts, long walks on the beach, fancy dinners and other forms of night time entertainment. For me the last four days consisted of early morning wake-ups to screams of "it's morning time, it's morning time", frantic breakfasts trying to make sure KajaKid was actually getting more food in her mouth than on the rest of her body, multiple trips from the sand castle to the water's edge to fill buckets for the moat, futile attempts at getting the kid to take a damn nap, early bird dinners and early evening battles trying to get the kid to go to bed. Then when she was finally out cold I would sneak out of the bed, turn on the laptop and silently try to play some poker in the darkness.
But don't get me wrong. I would trade any other vacation I ever had for the ones I get to enjoy with KajaKid. She is such a ball of energy and laughter that almost every waking moment is pure joy. Examples:
She still sleeps in a crib so when on vacation without a crib she gets to sleep in a big-girl-bed. That means one of the queen sized beds gets pushed to the wall on one side and I become the barrier on the other side. She will do a lot of back-and-forth to KajaWife's bed and will generally take about 1-2 hours to actually fall asleep, but when she does, she always has one arm around my neck and one leg on my torso. And she is just so warm and soft and her breath smells like cookies.
During the night she snuggles in close to try to get warm. You just can't beat that.
Trying to figure out what the kid is going to eat for dinner we had this conversation:
KajaWife: Kid, what's your favorite vegetable?
KajaKid: Pasta!
Problem solved.
We also had MeeMaw (KajaWife's mom) with us. We were actually visiting her brother and his wife in Florida. This always leads to some mom-daughter stress which I wisely try to avoid at all costs. Questions like "why don't you defend me more in these situations?" are not going to get a response. Anyway, we stopped at a gas station on the way back to the hotel and MeeMaw went to get some drinks for everyone while I pumped some gas. I was done before she got back, got back in the car and started it, intending to swing by the store entrance to pick her up. KajaKid asked where her MeeMaw was and both me and KajaWife said together "we're going to leave her here". This did not go over well and it took a while to calm her back down.
Then on the long trip home yesterday, when we ran into a lot of traffic and decided to use the nav system to take some back road detour, KajaKid announced that we should pull over and let MeeMaw out:
KajaKid: MeeMaw needs to get out of the car, right, now!
Everyone: Why, honey?
KajaKid: She needs to go home. Right, NOW!
Everyone: But it's dark and cold outside and she won't find her way home.
KajaKid: Yes she will.
MeeMaw: OK, let me just get my coat and I will be on my way.
KajaKid: No, I want your coat.
Kajagugu: So you want MeeMaw to be left alone in the cold and dark without her coat when she doesn't know where she is and has no way to get home? We might not ever see her again.
KajaKid: Oh, OK, stay in the car then MeeMaw.
Everyone: Gee, thanks.
KajaKid woke up from a nap in the car and announced that she wanted some ice cream, right, NOW! As we were making some great progress on the interstate we had to use some stalling techniques and ask lots of questions. Like what kind of ice cream does she want: Binana. What's her favorite ice cream flavor: Binana. What's KajaWife's favorite flavor: Binana. What's Kajagugu's favorite ice cream flavor: Binana. Every answer was Binana. Mind you, she's never had binana ice cream in her life. And I have no idea why she says it that way either.
There are so many other fun stories from the past four days, but this is fast becoming a sappy, family post and this is supposed to be a poker blog, right?

Sorry NaBlo
Short post. I am down in Florida for Turducken Day. The 10 hour drive was a breeze and we arrived in our hotel unscathed. I was pretty sure that I would not have time to play or blog but once I got KajaKid to sleep at 11pm I jumped into the Mookie. I had only been blinded down to 2350 from the starting stack and a couple of hands after the break I doubled up with 66 vs AK. I then battled BrainMc for a few hands and started chipping up. Card death led to me eventually having to push my QQ into a big stack who had raised with AhQh and had very little to call. Of course these bitches end up losing to a flush.
This is the third BBT2 that I go down in flames with the bitches. First time to LJ who held Kings. But once to Mag who held Ad4d and made a flush and once again to a flush. Stupid bitches.
I did manage to make the final two tables and get in the points, but I was ready for some final table lovin'.
Last night I was pretty certain I would miss the RiverChasers but signed up anyway. I managed to get the kid to sleep at around 10:20pm and found about half a stack left over. Quick double up and I was back in it. I final tabled and got bounced in 9th because I decided to jam A6o into Kings. Joy.
The suckouts were just horrendous last night. No underdog could lose. It was just stupid. I saw LJ raisy-daisy her luckbox butt and double with 88 vs AA to catch her two outer. She was just raising every hand at some point and I could just picture the girlie chat window with lucko telling her to raise, raise, RAISE !!!! All that raising led to her busting out early.
I have to say something about these aggressive types. Why not stay patient? Why not pick and choose the right points and the right players to raise? I guess when you're the big stack you are going to run over the table and scare everyone, but when you see the hands people are calling with, you should start to be more selective.
Anyway as I said, out in 9th after missing the first hour and a half. I guess that's pretty respectable. Take into account KajaWife sleeping on one bed and KajaKid on the other, playing in total darkness and silence and sitting on an island style wicker chair and I am pretty proud of myself.
One thing I did manage to screw up is my NaBloPoMo post every day. Sorry NaBlo. I'll try harder next year. Have a great weekend everyone.

Bodonkey Pimpage

The weekly Bodonkey might get a boost in players since Nat Arem just pimped it on his blog. Those free T$109 might be harder to come by starting tonight. You will have one free stack to feed off of because senior $mokkee is off on his honeymoon but still registered and getting blinded off.
Don't expect to see me there though for I am busto on Bodog. Busto, busto, busto.
Good luck to those who play. Click the image on the left if you can't see the details.
Bad Poker & Gadgets & Some History
Not sure what was going on last night, but I was just not into playing. I donked it up good in the MATH and then proceeded to spew all my chips in every other open tournament I had going. I think I might be a bit burnt out. Good thing, perhaps. KajaWife is also getting a little tired of all this poker playing. Not sure what will happen the rest of the week as I am going to visit some fam in Fla.
So let's talk about something fun. I love me some gadgets. A few weeks ago I went to Costco and saw that they were selling a USB turntable. Why would one need something like that? Well, because perhaps one was a dreamer DJ (DJ Kaja in the house) back in the day when one lived in NYC and was into lots of electro-tech-hard-house. Perhaps because one has a few hundred 12" vinyl discs gathering dust under a sweet DJ setup with two direct drive turntables, mixer and BPM counter. Perhaps because one is bored shitless of music being played on the radio.
Anyway, it's pretty cool. Comes with a simple to use software package that downloads the audio and converts it to iTunes format with a few mouse clicks. The quality could be better, but I guess that's what you get for around $100. I am not yet done converting all my CDs and I already have a new task. How do I manage it all? Where will I find the time for all this? Sigh.
All this started when my best bud (and later best man at my wedding) funkfly landed his ass on my couch in NYC about 8 years ago. This guy lives the life. Unattached, creative, fashionable, man-about-world fucker that he is, he showed up at my cozy one-bedroom apartment in NYC one day and didn't leave for 3 months. I guess it was fair since I did the same to him a couple of years earlier. We got into a great routine of me working my ass off all day while he slept and then him dragging me all over town every night. Food, booze, clubs, bars, girls, etc. Loads and loads of fun times.
One day we were walking back from some Sunday dim-sum in Chinatown and thought it would be nice to check out the electronic stores on Canal Street. We ended up buying the whole setup and setting it up on a not so stable table in my apartment. The next day I headed out to Mulberry Street below Houston to buy some industrial kitchen shelving units that were nice and sturdy and allowed to put a few milk crates on the bottom shelf. Then we started filling those crates up with vinyl. Sweet, black, vinyl. Oh, how I miss it just thinking about it and it is only 15 feet away from me as I sit here typing this.
The only use I have for this setup is to occasionally hook it up to my stereo system and dance around the playroom with KajaKid. She loves the techno.

I <3 Huckabee
I have no idea who this guy is, but all I have is two words: Chuck Norris!
This might be the funniest campaign promo I have ever seen!
Sunday, Bloody Sunday & WWYD?
Booooooooooooooooo............
Played the FTOPS ME and busted on a craptastic 55 all-in vs big-stack's KTo after he min-raised EP and I jammed. Board was J667J. Fuck presto. Like I said, booooo:
I missed an opportunity to triple up my short-stack when I folded 33 to and MP shove:
The fold was correct because I could only put the shover on a higher pocket pair than my measly pair of 3s, but the result would have been sweet. Oh, well. There's always next time. At least I got to play in the FTOPS, right?
Played the Blogger Big Game and went out in 12th place after getting no cards at all. My stats were wonderful though and kept me squarely in the red hot TAG zone that's been working for me lately. I really enjoyed the super stack format.
Bubbled the Tier2 token frenzy. Here's the situation. I am in the BB which is no at the 800/1600/200 range and have 1260 behind. UTG big stack min-raises and it folds to me holding K5o. WWYD?
1. Call and hope you are live and hit to double.
2. Fold, post the SB for 800+200 ante for 1K out of your remaining 1260 stack and hope to have a good hand to shove the rest?
3. Fold the SB and try to sneak in somehow with 260 on the button or CO?
Anyway, UTG had AQs and I was out on the damn bubble.
Played in the ThePokerGrind.net's bounty tourney and busted in 9/24 making a boneheaded move. I think he is going to make it a regular Sunday night game so head over there for all the details. And congratulate him on winning a seat to the PCA through the hell that is called PCA Steps.
So overall, not too ecstatic about Sunday.
UPDATE: Just won a token playing the double shootout heads-up. Won the first match in 4 hands and then in the second match my opponent got disconnected on the first hand. I sat out for 5 minutes and waited, but when he didn't show up I just raised every hand until he was down to around 300 and came back all upset. He jammed J2o into my ATo and doubled, then jammed A3o into my A9o and was done. He left with a few choice words. Screw him sideways. How long should I wait? He would have had no shot anyway because the hands I was winning had AAx2, AKx3, QQx2 and a few other premiums. So fu phagott right back.
I might take this token and play the MATH, which is supposed to be a turbo 6-max (ugh). I am not sure what to do about this week as I might not be able to play the Mookie or the RiverChasers due to holiday travel and dinners. Poker is for single orphan loners, I think.

Beggars can be losers
Beggars. I hate them. Poker beggars, that is. Those idiots who hang around the rail and ask for $5. Screw 'em. I was watching the play in FTOPS #13 and it is just annoying.
So all you beggars, when I am at the final table of the FTOPS ME tonight, don't dare ask me for $5. Don't dare. I might just turn off observer chat. I just might do that.
Good luck everyone!

New Monitor
So last night I try to type up some stuff and my 17" monitor starts to flicker and basically dies. Tried rebooting. Tried disconnecting. Reconnecting. Nothing. The fucker just turns on and as soon as the screen starts to show something the power goes off.
Off to Costco I headed this morning with KajaKid to see what they had in stock. We walk up to the line of monitors and KajaKid says: Look at the 3 pretty birdies. Get the birdies. Get the birdies.
I was actually looking at a Samsung model which was about $50 cheaper and even took a box off the shelf. She wouldn't let it go and even tried to get one of the boxes down herself. So I gave it a second thought and found out that the ViewSonic VX2255wmb had speakers and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Nice. I only hope it doesn't lead to anything like this.
I am all ready for the FTOPS ME now. Now that I can see what's on the screen, that is. Thanks to all those who wished me luck.
Ooh to be ah
Some of you know Kajagoogoo as the one hit wonder band with weird hair and girly frontman, Limahl. It's not really the reason I chose to go by the nickname Kajagugu, but it works just fine anyway.
Weird hair example:
Limahl example:
So there I am going through my vinyl collection and find an old 7" that I got from one of my dad's aunts who used to work in a radio station. These are promos that stations get so they are usually not for sale. I knew about this song but never really liked it. Until I saw the cover:
Yes, that's right. It's Freemont Street before they turned into a freaking enclosed floor-to-ceiling downtown experience. You can actually see the Horseshoe, Golden Nugget, Plaza and Freemont casinos. What a fucking coincidence is that! Or is it?
As for the lyrics, they are pretty we todd did (if you don't know what we todd did, just read that last sentence out loud to yourself. Just stand in the middle of your office and yell out: I AM SOFA KING WE TODD DID). And here they are. If you can make any sense of this mess, well, I don't know what to say:
I have no idea how to load an audio clip or I would let you hear for yourselves. So instead I will give you the actual video clip of this disaster. Be warned, this is the 80's at it's undisputed worst. Enjoy!

Top 5 meme
I swore that I would never do this, but last night KajaWife had a bunch of the girls over for Bunco and when I came downstairs to see what was going on they were all drinking wine and shooting the shit. As soon as I show my face they're like: Hey Kaja, who's in your top 5? It caught me by surprise because I had never done a top 5 before and really haven't thought about anything like this for a while.
So I said that I really don't know and they all ridiculed me and called me a liar. I was being honest and we then set on a path to try to figure out who would make my top 5 list.
I think the concept was originally created on Friends and the idea is that if for some impossible circumstance one of your top 5 shows up, you get a free pass from your significant other to do whatever you want. Something like that.
Anyway, Here is what we came up with for me:
1. Ashley Judd
2. Megan Fox - I had to add her and bump Kate Hudson. Sorry, Kate.
3. Jessica Biel
4. Eva Mendes
5. Katie Holmes
The Lucko Big Stack Method (7/97)
About a year ago when we played the first ever Blogger Big Game (BTW, next one is this Sunady at 9:30pm pw:donkey), Lucko showed us all how to kill the table on the bubble with a big stack. Last night at the RiverChasers two of his other multi-accounts (I keed of course) showed us how its done once again. Down to two tables they were pretty much raising every pot. It didn't help much that these two already have TOC seats and could care less about flipping coins to take a shortie out.
I had a different agenda. I had to finish in the top 11 spots and make sure twoblackaces didn't win the thing to guarantee that I had the BBT2 leaderboard first place which awarded the following:
So as you can see I did it. I managed to take 7th which was enough to knock Astin out of the top spot and into his preferred 2nd place position (hehe).
I was delighted to see that two of the top 5 players were not even playing. LuckTruck and Astin were a no show and I knew my game plan was to outlast the chasers and take anything higher than 11th.
On of the first hands I played was QQ in the SB. Jeciimd raised to 120 from the button and the SB called. I popped it to 420 and Jecii was not convinced I actually folded Queens. The he said he doesn't believe my blog either. So this one's for you Jecii:

Some guy I never played with before doubled up on the first hand when he stacked Blinders. He went on to play loose and wild and was getting a little annoying. We eventually took him out, not before he claimed he wanted to meet me to play live. Then he called me son. Then he told us about all his winnings in AC. We Todd Did. What else can I say?
I won't bore you with all the details. All you have to know is that Lucko's buddies were tearing us new ones. Each on his own table. Mag had over 100K on his table and Loretta had about 55K on ours. He was on my right and raising ever hand. Stealing every blind. I had nothing I could push back with so I just bled chips. We merged to one table and Mag the lucksack was just jamming every hand and winning every coin flip. He did double Al up when his AJ could not beat Al's presto.
I eventually jammed the first pocket pair I saw in the last hour and this was the result:
How can these guys run so good for so long?
Anyway, it's pretty interesting that 3 TOC winners were in the final 7 and even funnier that the final 2 were both TOC winners. One less player to contend with, I guess.
OK, wish me luck on Sunday. I am taking that biatch down! No poker till then. Have a good weekend y'all.

How to play a hand badly - WWYD?
I was going to analyze this earlier and ask for your comments, so here goes:
FullTiltPoker Game #4178628035: The Mookie - DDDNasty II (31525513), Table 7 - 15/30 - No Limit Hold'em - 22:04:04 ET - 2007/11/14
Seat 1: NumbBono (2,660)
Seat 2: irongirl01 (3,370)
Seat 3: ScottMc (2,955)
Seat 4: chitwood (2,970)
Seat 5: RumpleTILTZkin (3,000)
Seat 6: JoeSpeaker (3,000)
Seat 7: -o-LuckTruck-o- (3,045)
Seat 8: Kajagugu (3,000)
chitwood posts the small blind of 15
RumpleTILTZkin posts the big blind of 30
The button is in seat #3
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Kajagugu [Ah Kd]
JoeSpeaker folds
-o-LuckTruck-o- raises to 90
Kajagugu has 15 seconds left to act
Kajagugu raises to 210
This is the first level, four minutes into the tourney I think this is the only good thing I did in the hand.
Question 1: Do you flat call here and make it attractive for others to play the hand? Do you raise more?
NumbBono folds
irongirl01 folds
ScottMc folds
chitwood has 15 seconds left to act
chitwood folds
RumpleTILTZkin folds
-o-LuckTruck-o- calls 120
I didn't expect him to fold so I put him on a high pocket pair and perhaps AJs+.
*** FLOP *** [Ks 5s Ts]
-o-LuckTruck-o- has 15 seconds left to act
-o-LuckTruck-o- bets 325
Kajagugu has 15 seconds left to act
Kajagugu calls 325
The pot is 465 so this is a good bet. I have TPTK but this is an ugly flop. I think this is where I made my first mistake by flat calling. I am still in the lead but only slightly.
Question 2: Do you fold, call or raise at this point? If you raise, why and to how much?
*** TURN *** [Ks 5s Ts] [Ad]
-o-LuckTruck-o- has 15 seconds left to act
-o-LuckTruck-o- bets 700
Kajagugu calls 700
Great, now I have two pair, but I could still be way behind a flush. That would really leave me only 4 outs. The pot is 1115 so the 700 is another strong bet. I think this call was another mistake. At this point I am actually a 3-to-1 favorite. But I guess the made flush scared me. I think the right move here is to jam and have him put his tourney at stake.
Question 3: What do you do at this point? Your hand improved but this is getting expensive. Fold? Call? Raise? How much?
*** RIVER *** [Ks 5s Ts Ad] [Qs]
-o-LuckTruck-o- has 15 seconds left to act
-o-LuckTruck-o- bets 700
Kajagugu calls 700
This was the worst part. This is just plain stupid. No need to calculate pot odds or anything. There is no excuse for this call. A 4-flush means I lose to any spade. Why would I even call this? I can only beat a bluff? LuckTruck would not bluff most of his stack on the 4th hand. Pure chip spewage. No question about it.
*** SHOW DOWN ***
-o-LuckTruck-o- shows [As Qc] a flush, Ace high
Kajagugu mucks in disgust
-o-LuckTruck-o- wins the pot (3,915) with a flush, Ace high
Hopefully I won't make these mistakes tonight. Let me know your thought in the comments. Kthxbai.
Kajagaygay is so horny
KOD picked me as his horse again in lucko's race, but called me Kajagaygay, which really cracks me up on so many levels.
Anyway, one of my buddies sent me this awesome clip about being horny. Enjoy:
Fucking Flush Tilt
Fuck Fuck Fuckety Fuck!
Flush Tilt and their Fucking RNG can kiss my ass. Oh well, maybe it's not ALL their fault.
The night started out great when I decided that for some unknown reason I was a HORSE specialist and signed up for the sat to FTOPS whatever at 9:45. Guess how long that took and what place I ended up in? Take a look:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! That was a waste of $50. Oh well, maybe I'll learn my lesson.
So on to the Mookie. TD & RNG had it in for me last night because right off the bat they sit me next to LuckTruck. And then we play this hand which I played all wrong (and will post about separately):
That cut my stack down to around 1K from the starting 3K. Then in the blinds this happens:
It was checked down the whole way and then I paid off his 150 value bet on the river. Yay me.
But the worst hand of the night was when I was very short and jammed my remaining 500ish chips on this flop which PirateLawyer called for some reason:
He had a normal sized stack and no real draw except for the gutshot, so I totally don't get this call. He said he hadn't noticed my stack size before the hand, like that makes it an OK call or something. So to add to the pain RNG gives me two pair by the turn but then goes back to its roots and delivers the (un)likely flush.
I was so sick of poker I unregistered from the Dookie and went to bed. Sorry about not linking anyone in this post. Sue me.

How to win a token in 15 hands
I love me some stupid token tourneys. Sometimes I go for the turbo two table and sometimes the double elimination heads-up. I played one that took forever and I got sucked out on severely to lose. I almost gave up on the idea because I was tilting but decided to go for a second one. I won the token in record time:
First opponent:
Raise with the hammer, take it down, show, set the mood:
Fold on this flop:
All in on the flop with a flush draw and bottom pair. I am actually a slight favorite against his overpair:
He's got 40 chips left and out the next hand:
First opponent, done in 4 hands. I thought it would take a while for the other guy to show up but they finished less than a minute later.
Lost the first hand when the chaser could not let go of his flush draw:
Then I won the next 6 hands with some aggression:

I could have won this one with a small bet but I gave it away:
Folded pre-flop:
Got him to call me down with 42o:
One more, for the win. He actually called on the flop drawing to 3 outs:
11 hands to take out second donkey. I love me some tokens!
