I have been using an interesting play in my SNGs. I will sometimes create action in order to get my opponents to battle each other. I will sometimes call or re-raise small in order to get someone behind me to push into someone I think is strong who raised before me. This is especially effective around bubble play.
For example, if I have been stealing a lot of blinds and someone before me raises, I might flat-call or re-raise small with a medium strength hand just so that the players in the blinds will think this is weak and jam. Then the original raiser calls with a big hand and takes one of the blinds out. I know I am sometimes contributing dead money to the pot and I will usually pick my spots, but the value of knocking someone out in order to get ITM easily outweighs that.

Would lov eto see some actual hands and situations but it does sound interesting - kind of "inducing a squeeze play for overall positioning value"
You sneaky bastage. I like your thinking. That is a good tool to use in the right situation, especially bubble time.
Fuel, I tried to look up some examples. If I run into any more situations like these I will post them as the happen. It was more of a general feeling that I had when these things happened than anything more concrete.
Its a great idea I had not thought of before.
