Yep - I donked and tilted off my entire PokerStars bankroll. I actually felt relieved to do it. I fucking HATE that site. Yes, yes - harsh words. Although I had some good MTT results there, over the lifetime of my play there it has been a big loser....
I will only use my FPP's to play or try their freerolls and try to build a bankroll from nothing. I will not deposit again unless something drastically changes in my play or they have something truly worthy of my hard earned poker cash.
To top it off, last night I was set to play that Mookie, the 25K on Full Tilt Poker, the 10K on UltimateBet and several others since the wife was going to her monthly college girlfriends night out. She came home earlier than expected, drunk and looking for a fight. So I ended up putting that fire out in about 45 minutes and found that I was pretty shortstacked on all the games I was registered in without playing a single hand. I was too bummed out to really play and just shoved all my chips in whenever I got dealt the next hand. I was out of all but the 10K in which no matter how many times I shoved and from what position someone always called and doubled me up.
At this point I got comfortable and decided to play. A big stack was getting mad at my play and decided to take my pre-flop pot sized bets and call. I had a 78s in EP and he called. We were heads-up and the flop was 10-9-4 with two clubs. I bet the pot, he raised all-in, I called, he showed his Aces and I got my 6 on the turn to take it down and cut him in half. Next hand I am UTG and get 66. So I bet the pot again, he shoves with A-J and never hits and in two hands I take all his chips and go to 7th out of about 200.
A huge rant followed in the chat that just made me laugh and torment the idiot a little further. I continued to play very well, but then I thought the wife was ready for bed and I didn't want to start the fight again and tried to shut off the game. I shoved with the hammer and got called. I shoved with some other crap and got called and I was out. Instead of going to bed the wife decided to watch some more TV and there I was, twiddling my thumbs, fuming and thinking about what could have been...
So I lost about a 100 on all the buy-ins, but at least I cleared another $20 from my Full Tilt Poker bonus....
I think I need a break.
Some screen shots that prove that massive suckouts are given and not just recieved:

And one magical flop:

Evolution of Video Games
I know a lot of us poker donks love themselves a good video game. I must admit that since catching the poker bug I have barely touched another video game. But I found this video very impressive and I can honsetly say I have probably played most of the older games:
Oy the tilt
Within the first 10 minutes of the 25K my QQ was crushed by the SB's monster KT. That put me on Uber-Tilt for the night. Results:
1) First one out of the MATH
2) FIrst one out of a $6 2-table token.
3) First one out of a $8 2-table token.
I then managed to recollect myself long enough to lead the $10 180-seater for almost two full hours only to give away half my stack with AQ to KK. And out I go in 24th place (18 paid).
Oy!

PS = PokerSuckouts
Yikes. I think I have completely come to accept PokerStars as the Suckout capital of Poker. I pretty much expect them at this point and don't get too upset when they happen anymore.
I took another second in a PS $30 SNG not before delivering some sick suckouts to my fellow players:

I also played a TEC SNG at UltimateBet with some famous guy called KrazyKanuck. People were pestering him the whole time and I eventually had to turn off my observer chat. I played solid but then lost two big hands:
Hand 1: My QQ in position loses to a flopped set of 5s on a rag flop.
Hand 2: My AKs in position loses to QQ on a rag flop.
Where is the justice? The truth is I could have gotten away from both hands.
I hope to play the MATH tonight but I can't promise anything. I promised the wife to read a book about techniques in reproductive gender selection (ovulation, cycles, temperature, etc.) since she really wants a baby (tilt) boy. I also want a boy and the idea of reproduction pretty much beats poker, if you know what I mean.

Catching up
My lazy ass couldn't get a post up all week. I did get to play some pokah with some mixed results. I took another 2nd in a $50 SNG after I offered the other guy to split. Second time that happens. Two suckouts and I was done.
I then played my first Mookie. I played pretty well but got distracted at the final table since I was making the money in the 25K guaranteed on Full Tilt Poker. The 25K actually turned into a 37K (wow). I played the Mookie and the second chance while making the 25K money and got all confused. So with only 8 players left I donked off my chips with 22 vs a set of 3s. Ouch. 6 players made the money. I had some nice hands that I will probably either post later or forget about.
In the 25K I got to the top 10 with about 800 left to play and easily cruised into the money. But then I lost 4 hands to short stacks - AQ vs AK, AQ vs AK (again), AJ vs A7 (split), AJ vs AQ and once again AJ vs AQ. These were almost consecutive hands. So I was out in 169th and made $40 - I'm rich:
I also played a 3K PLO8 tournament and played very very wild with some seriously hot cards. I saw some awful plays against me which I might also post later. I was leading for a long time but ended in 51st place and didn't cash. Too wild. But I love the action in PLO8 so I might try again sometime.
I saw a Razz freeroll on PokerStars and decided to play. I think this might be my second or third Razz tournament ever and boy do I suck.
Ok so now for some Mookie screenshots:
I was on the button with a soooooted K3 and decided to just limp in. dnasty13 was playing a lot of hands and taking advantage of the fact we were all pretty tight. But since he decided to just limp in I called.
Oh, how nice. Flopped a set, in position. But everyone just checks, so I am not sure if I should just check as well and risk someone hitting a flush or bet out and take it down. I decide to check.
It's nice, I like. The boat. Flush away no people. I am only mildly scared of a stronger boat, but from the soft play so far I doubt it. But everyone checks it again, bummer. I guess I will check and hope someone hits something on the river.
Oh, dnasty13 just min bets that 4. I am only scared of 4s full but decide to play along and min raise.
wwonka69 also calls but dnasty13 raises to 1000. I shove, wwonka69 folds and dnasty13 calls.
Oh no - dnasty13 made his straight on the river and paid me off. He got trapped with his 76 suited connectors. I love it:
Over at the 25K I see another K3 soooooted and decide to play those as well:
This time I actualy raised 4xBB and got one caller from the CO.
This is pretty much as good as a flop could be. Let's count my outs - Nut flush draw with 9 outs plus 4 jacks for a total of 13 outs twice. I decide to check and try to see a free card.
What do you know a 280 bet into a 380 pot with my massive drawing hand. Let's go buddy:
Oh lookey here. I hit my nut straight on the turn and the nut flush on the river. Sweet.
Some more 25K fun - flush draw with two overcards makes a better two pair on the river:
Check this one out though. We both had AK:
But I made a flush to knock him out. Big rant followed:
On to the PLO8 3K. This hand made me chip leader:

I could not believe this guy called my all-in with nothing:
This was a huge missed opportunity. I could not call the big bets on the flop and ended up missing making quads and knocking out two strong players:
And this was my last hand in the PLO8. I think if I could have kept my cool I would have easily made the money here, but my daughter decided to put me on baby tilt with her waking up at 1am and screaming her head off. Better boat took me out in 51st place:
And just for fun here are 2 Razz hands I played and won:

I think from now on I will just call my baby girl in her new blogger name: Baby Tilt. So as Baby Tilt likes to say:
"All Done"

Suckouts for everyone
I have been away for about 3 weeks and really didn't get to play much poker during that time. I missed my monthly neighborhood game. I missed a local blogger gathering. I missed a bunch. I came back to find about 500 posts waiting in my bloglines. I think half of them had to do with awful suckouts. I know how those work.
But then I was just cruising along today and ran into this: http://www.bluffmagazine.com/dailyhand.asp
This is the hand that won Doyle his first WSOP ME bracelet. Please don't talk to me about suckouts anymore. Not only did he play an awful hand, make a stupid flop call and push when he was way behind - he managed to hit the 4-outer on the river to take first place and all the money.
I pose a question to all of you: If you were playing against a player who sucked out like that - would you think he was Doyle Brunson or just another lucky donkey?

BRB
On Vacation.
No Network.
I know all 5 of my readers are waiting for their Kaja fix. I will post when I get back.
Just a bit: I finally got a network connection and decided to play 20-30-50 SNGs. First 50 I bubble out when my JT meets J9 on a J high flop and he turns a 9 after it's all in after the flop. Thank you PS.
My second 30 I make it to heads up and other guy asks if I want to chop. Two suckouts later I am out in 2nd.
Third 20 I get KK first hand - 3 way all in. AA vs KK vs QQ - who wins? QQ on the river makes a set. TY again PS.
Fourth 50 I get KK first hand again! I raise, push I call and double up. I rule the table for a bit and then my baby kicks the laptop to call an all-in and I am down to 350. I fight my way back and take 3rd. That game was mine....
